What ages do you cater for?

We cater for ages 5-7 in our Junior Class, ages 7+ in our Family Class, and 13+ for our Low Impact Class.

What will I learn in the Junior Class?

In the Junior Class you will learn the fundamentals of Martial Arts training, this includes how to move, how to strike, how to escape simple grabs, how to do basic joint locks, and how to fall. We also do general fitness and stretching exercises.

What will I learn in the Family Class?

In the Family Class you will learn the fundamentals of Martial Arts training, including how to move, how to escape simple grabs, how to do basic joint locks and how to fall properly.
We also do some weapons training in Jool Bong (Nunchucks) and sparring and grappling.
We will also do general fitness and stretching exercises.

What will I learn in the Low Impact Class?

In the Low Impact Class we focus on movements to aid recovery and keep you fit. These are based on biomechanics and include stretches, joint alignment, resistance training, and low level weight training. We also work on balance and incorporate some of the fundamental Martial Arts movements in our main syllabus.

Do you offer free trial lessons?

Yes, we offer free trial lessons in both the Junior Class and the Family Class, just message us or go on the book online page to book a trial lesson.

What do I need to wear to a trial lesson?

Wear clothes you are comfortable exercising in, and bring a water bottle!
We train barefoot, however yoga socks are acceptable.

Yes, as part of our sparring classes we work on real world self defence to ensure students feel confident in their abilities.
