Battle Martial Arts

Welcome to Battle Martial Arts. As part of our commitment to providing a safe, transparent, and enjoyable martial arts learning experience, we ask all our members and participants to carefully review and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Risk

Martial arts are physical disciplines that inherently involve risk of injury. By participating in any class, workshop, or event at Battle Martial Arts, or by using any provided educational materials, you acknowledge these risks. You agree that Battle Martial Arts, its owners, instructors, and support staff, shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages to person or property, except in instances of negligence by Battle Martial Arts.

Health and Safety

Your health and safety are our top priorities. By engaging in our activities, you confirm that you are medically and physically fit for martial arts training. You are required to inform our instructors of any medical conditions or concerns that may affect your participation. It is your responsibility to ensure your training environment is safe, especially when participating remotely.

Membership Fees

• Types of Membership: Battle Martial Arts requires both annual and monthly membership. Details regarding the fees, benefits, and terms for each option are available upon inquiry.

• Payment: Membership fees are due in accordance with the agreed schedule. Non-payment may result in suspension of membership privileges.

Testing and Promotion

• Eligibility: Students may be eligible for testing and promotion on a quarterly basis.

• Testing Fee: A separate fee is applicable for each testing session. This fee covers the cost of the examination, any materials provided, and, if applicable, the new belt or rank certification.

Operational Schedule

• Annual Schedule: Battle Martial Arts operates approximately 47 weeks per year. We close for certain public holidays and may also observe seasonal breaks.

• Communication of Closures: Any planned closures or schedule changes will be communicated well in advance through our website, email newsletters, and/or at our facility.

Use of Educational Materials

Educational materials provided by Battle Martial Arts are for personal, non-commercial use only. Unauthorized distribution or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

Photography

Battle Martial Arts may occasionally take photo's or videos to use for record keeping and marketing materials both on the Battle Martial Arts website and social media pages. If you do not want your photos to be used then please email martialartsinbattle@gmail.com to inform us.

If you are taking photos/videos during a Battle Martial Arts session, please ensure that no other participants are in the photo without their consent.

Amendments to Terms

Battle Martial Arts  reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon posting to our website or otherwise being communicated to you.

Your Statutory Rights

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
