Continuing on from Parts 1 and 2 where we learn to move our body with full range of motion, Parts 3 and 4 introduce some dynamic moving with an emphasis on single leg stability.
Single leg stability (and by extension balance) is vital to keeping our bodies upright when we need them to be! Studies have also shown that a decline in single leg stability goes hand in hand with other cognitive decline, so if we work on our balance we could also be smarter!!
The movement during these two parts needs to continue to be smooth and consistent, and should flow steadily from one part to the next, do not rush the turns, instead focus on keeping the foot that is in contact with the ground fully engaged and stable.
